Carl Burton talks about the CAP Act and Angelina Reaux will "Wow you"

The Oct. 4, 2009 taping of LiveWire is sure to open your eyes. Ray will be talking with Carl Burton, Access Sacramento Board Chair, about the CAP Act (Community Access Preservation Act). This Act is meant to strengthen community media and Ray will surely find out all the details. Go to www.alliancecm.org to find out more information.

Continuing with the theme of "community access preservation", Ray will feature the "Friends of Amy" Goodman Fundraiser for Access Sacramento. This fundraiser is designed to raise money for our own Access Sacramento station. The event takes place on Nov. 21, 2009 from 3:00pm to 4:30pm at the Coloma Center Auditorium located at 4623 T Street, Sacramento, Ca 95819. The cost of the event is $15 in advance, $20 at the door, and $35 for the entire event; which includes a meet a greet with Amy from 2:30 to 4:30.
