Peculiar & Sudden Nearness to the Moon

A bright and beautiful Anglo professor about to give birth to her first child... a strange black spirit that speaks to her in an ancient voice... an exquisite moon that never seemed so large and luminous. When she gives birth to a baby who grows darker with each passing day, Sydney Spencer is catapulted on a journey to come to grips with the deepest mysteries of life: the questions of identity and belonging in the context of race, culture, and class; the search for the critical and complicated answer to “Who am I?” Don’t miss this World Premiere production by award-winning playwright Velina Hasu Houston. Size does matter

Yesterday, LiveWire viewers were treated to a very special show. In the studio were 3 former NFL players, Gene Cronin of the Detroit Lions, Ralph DeLoach, 3rd round draft pick of the Dallas Cowboys and also Doug Cosbie, 2nd round draft pick for the Dallas Cowboys. Pictured in the photo with me, Bradley Wells (center) are Gene Cronin on the left and Ralph Deloach on the right. These gentlemen are probably the best football players to ever come from Sacramento. It was a pleasure to have them in the studio.

ATTENTION McClatchey High & Sacramento High Alumni: Make sure to catch this nostalgic game and return the Battle of the Bell game to the hometown tradition it once was. See you there.
